05/07/2024Partner Alexis L. Cirel was a panelist on a seminar held as part of the American Bar Association's Family Law Spring CLE Conference in Boston on May 2nd.
"Let's Get Crystal Queer: How to Represent LGBTQ+ Clients and Families" focused on identifying and addressing unique challenges that attorneys might face while representing LGBTQ+ parents and children in family law and ART practice.
Other experts from around the country and abroad including Nik Harris, Esq., Human Rights Campaign (who moderated); Dr. Julie Bindeman, Integrative Therapy of Greater Washington; Mary Bonauto, Esq., GLAD; and Stephen Page, Esq., Page Provan, joined Ms. Cirel to discuss issues LGBTQ+ families are currently facing in different jurisdictions and provided helpful practice tips for family law attorneys.
